Without a doubt, the Espresso Martini is one of the fastest growing requests at bars. Personally, I have seen far too many of them bundled and mis-made. An Espresso Martini is one of the tastiest drinks you can order, or one of the worst depending on how it’s made. Last week the entire CocktailVIBE crew was asked to come up with a few variations for this dark and creamy cocktail. Over the weekend, we all got together and made Martinis using the recipes we found. It was a great night! We went through tons of various liquors and coffees, and endured the good, the bad and the weak. At the end of the day, we came to a unanimous agreement. THIS is the recipe we all thought best. This drink is perfect for almost any time… before or after dinner, happy hour, late night… you name it.
It’s also worth adding, this recipe is very simple and can be done in less than a few minutes. Enjoy all!
CocktailVIBE’s Espresso Martini
- 1 1/2 oz Vodka
- 3/4 oz Kahlua Coffee Liqueur
- 1/4 oz White Creme de Cacao
- 1 oz cold espresso
- Espresso Beans
- Pour the Vodka, Kahlua, Creme de Cacao and Espresso into a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Shake well.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Add 2 or 3 espresso beans
